3 Tips for Successful Training with Hemp & CBD
You regularly go to the gym, consume protein-rich food like energy bars, are quite active during the day, and yet the desired success in training does not materialize? Despite months of hard work and numerous diets, many still fail in the end and frustration sets in. The question quickly arises: 'Why?'. We try to provide some answers. Our top athletes were available to answer our questions. Why Athletes Rely on Hemp & CBD Products
With a structured training plan, daily workouts, and a profound understanding of their own bodies – the HANAFSAN sports ambassadors are well-versed in this. When it comes to "strength," endurance, strength training, and recovery phases are balanced and finely tuned in professional sports to ultimately achieve maximum performance in competition. Nutrition also plays an undeniably important role, as without the right intake of "fuels" (which include proteins/amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals), the human body is only capable of limited performance. To help you find the right balance between training and nutrition, our professionals offer three effective and valuable tips that lead to success and demonstrate how raw and active ingredients from the hemp plant, in the form of hemp protein, CBD oils, and CBD creams, can be integrated into athletic daily life.
CBD After Intense Training: Muscle Relaxation & Recovery
A balanced and healthy diet is now not only trendy but has been scientifically proven to enhance one's physical and mental performance. Products rich in protein, effective carbohydrates, healthy unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, and of course, the reduction or elimination of sugar consumption are beneficial. Collin Quaner, striker at FC St. Mirren, has been intensely focused on his nutrition for years and has some special tips: “One should really avoid foods that burden the body and promote inflammation throughout the day. Personally, I have two special habits. I drink one to two glasses of celery juice every morning. The active ingredients in the juice essentially detoxify my body. Additionally, I regularly use HANAFSAN CBD oil every evening, which supports my recovery overnight. An important component after intense training. This combination, along with my daily training, has really convinced me over the past months.”

CBD Oil for Recovery, Sleep & Performance
Discipline, ambition, perseverance – important virtues in top-level sports. In the training process, good organization is the foundation for long-term success. “The path to a successful routine is often very arduous. There always comes a moment when you struggle with yourself, and that must be overcome. A certain determination obviously helps. Personally, I rely on a regulated weekly plan. I have established some routines that have settled well. For example, I meditate daily and consume hemp protein (with oat milk) every morning. In the afternoon, I usually have an individual workout, followed by team training in the evening and my HANAFSAN CBD oil before going to bed. A coherent overall package that works well for me,” emphasizes Laurens Halfmann, field hockey player at HTC Uhlenhorst Mülheim the importance of routine in sports and the use of CBD products in the evening.

Hemp Protein for Muscle Building & Energy in Training
Motivation in the gym is usually very high at the beginning, and often one can hardly wait to lift the first weights and show what "one" is capable of – and this is often where a significant mistake occurs: Proper warming up and efficiently activating the muscles are steps that must not be skipped, as the body must first reach operating temperature before it can function properly without risk of injury. Basketball professional Timur Bas knows this too: “I stretch several times a day, often already in the morning. My tip: dynamic stretching and not hasty, but rather smooth movements help the body wake up and acclimatize. I take a good amount of time for that.” Also, when it comes to nutrition, quick fixes are not beneficial. “Not everything that seems healthy is actually healthy. Unfortunately, especially in sports, there are many protein powders based on milk or soy that are not necessarily helpful for digestion. It's worth focusing on specific plant-based proteins, like high-quality organic protein from hemp seeds,” Timur Bas swears by the advantages of plant-based protein intake. Of course, there are many more factors that contribute to a successful training routine. But our ambassadors agree: Those who truly want to succeed must do much more than just engage in physical activity two to three times a week. Training should be understood more as a marathon than a sprint.
