CBD & hemp in skincare: Natural help for skin problems
CBD and hemp have become sought-after ingredients in modern skincare. Thanks to valuable antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and skin-soothing properties, CBD and hemp seed oil can support natural skin regeneration and provide soothing care for dry, irritated, or blemished skin. Find out why hemp cosmetics are becoming increasingly popular for acne, eczema, and anti-aging applications. The skin is the mirror of the soul, so the saying goes. About every third skin disease occurs together with a psychological disorder. It is no coincidence that people say something "gets under the skin" or "makes you want to crawl out of your skin." Stress, depression, or anxiety often manifest on the skin, whether through nervous sweat and goosebumps – or even through rashes and redness. Our body speaks its own language and tells us through the skin that something is wrong. However, this language is often not so easy to understand. Because although we know so much about the human body and treatment methods are constantly improving, skin diseases such as neurodermatitis and allergies seem to be increasing more and more. Skin diseases are often stubborn and difficult to treat. In addition, the visible symptoms on the skin increase the suffering and additionally strain the psyche. Especially with acne and neurodermatitis or rosacea, which are visible on the face or hands, many patients struggle heavily. It is secondary where a skin disease originates; what matters is quick relief of the symptoms.
Why hemp and CBD are becoming increasingly popular in cosmetics
The cannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD), which is formed in the flowers and leaves of the cannabis plant, is becoming increasingly important as a cosmetic ingredient in skincare. Besides its excellent cosmetic properties, the generally soothing effect of the natural plant substance CBD is also very interesting. But hemp seed oil, ideally cold-pressed and organic quality, obtained from hemp seeds, is also experiencing a great upswing not only as a high-quality food. Studies and numerous reports show that CBD can very well support skin regeneration without causing known side effects. Thus, this cannabinoid is gaining more and more importance as a cosmetic "anti-aging" ingredient. But CBD and hemp extracts are also used in the cosmetic treatment of pimples, acne, and eczema. Hemp and products made from it are perfectly suited as an all-round package for healthy and vital skin.

CBD skincare - natural help for skin problems
CBD and other hemp products have a scientifically confirmed antioxidant effect. Our body needs these antioxidants, among other things, to combat free radicals that destroy or damage cells. Hemp seed oil can also be effectively used externally for insect bites, skin redness, sunburn, but also cracked skin in winter. Responsible for the "soothing of the skin" are, for example, the rare gamma-linolenic acid found in hemp seeds and the hemp seed oil derived from them. The abundant vitamin E also protects against UV radiation and aging processes. It is therefore no wonder that more and more hemp-based skincare products are coming onto the market. When these products are then made according to cosmetic standards and ideally in organic quality, without artificial preservatives and aromas, consumers can definitely notice added value. For example, HANAFSAN offers two hand-stirred hemp creams that meet all these standards.
