CBD & Hemp in Skincare: Natural Help for Healthy Skin
Hemp is becoming increasingly popular in cosmetics as well. Especially the valuable cannabinoid CBD, but also hemp seed oil can be found in various high-quality products. The skin is the mirror of the soul, so the saying goes. About one in three skin diseases occurs alongside a psychological disorder. It's no coincidence that people say something "gets under the skin" or "makes you want to jump out of your skin." Stress, depression, or anxiety often manifest on the skin, whether through anxiety sweat and goosebumps - or even through rashes and redness. Our body speaks its own language and communicates to us through the skin that something is wrong. However, this language is often not so easy to understand. Because although we know so much about the human body and treatment methods are continually improving, skin diseases such as eczema and allergies seem to be on the rise. Skin diseases are often persistent and difficult to treat.
Additionally, the visible manifestations on the skin increase the suffering and further burden the psyche. Many patients struggle particularly with acne and eczema, which are visible on the face or hands.
It is secondary where a skin disease originates; what matters is a quick relief of the symptoms.
Why hemp and CBD are becoming increasingly popular in cosmetics
The cannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD), which is produced in the flowers and leaves of the cannabis plant, is becoming increasingly important as a cosmetic ingredient in skincare. In addition to its excellent cosmetic properties, the generally beneficial effects of the natural plant substance CBD are also very interesting. Moreover, hemp seed oil, ideally cold-pressed and of organic quality, is experiencing a significant upswing not only as a high-quality food. Studies and numerous reports show that CBD can contribute significantly to supporting skin regeneration without causing known side effects. Thus, this cannabinoid is gaining more importance as a cosmetic "anti-aging" ingredient. CBD and hemp extracts are also used for the cosmetic treatment of pimples, acne, and eczema. Hemp and products derived from it are perfect as a comprehensive package for healthy and vital skin.

CBD and other hemp products have a scientifically confirmed antioxidant effect. Our body needs these antioxidants, among other things, to combat free radicals that destroy or damage cells. Hemp seed oil can be effectively used externally for insect bites, skin redness, sunburn, and even cracked skin in winter. Responsible for the "calming of the skin" is, for example, the rare gamma-linolenic acid found in hemp seeds and the hemp seed oil derived from them. The abundantly present vitamin E also protects against UV radiation and aging processes. Therefore, it is no wonder that more and more hemp-based skincare products are coming onto the market. When these products are made according to cosmetic standards and ideally in organic quality, without artificial preservatives and flavors, consumers can certainly notice added value. For example, HANAFSAN offers two handcrafted hemp creams that meet all these standards.
