Naturally beautiful clothing "according to Maas"

By wearing a piece of clothing "according to Maas," we literally carry all these values on our skin. This is evident in the naturally vibrant colors and noticeably high-quality fabrics. All designs, concepts, and cuts for the company’s own collections are created in-house. Almost exclusively, natural fibers from renewable resources are used – resource-efficient and, wherever possible, from certified organic farming and animal husbandry. Ethical and social working conditions in all production facilities, whether in Germany or abroad, are a given. Additionally, all textiles are tested in a qualified laboratory.

Fashion, but please consciously

A conscious approach to fashion has many facets. The diverse collection at Maas Natur includes a wide selection of t-shirts, shirts, blouses, and sweaters, as well as pants, dresses, skirts, shoes, and jackets – at a fair price. The company places great importance on this: people should be able to afford to "live naturally" with high-quality clothing. Nevertheless, especially in fashion, the principle holds true: less is more – good pieces can be worn longer, and Maas consciously ensures that clothing items can be combined across seasons. Regarding the global production chains in the fashion industry, company founder Reinhard Maas hopes for a change in awareness – not least due to the experiences during the Corona crisis. The company itself collaborates very well with two local knitting mills. This is a significant advantage, especially in times when one can no longer rely on supply chains from abroad. Furthermore, local production sites naturally strengthen regional value creation. In some areas, unfortunately, regional sourcing is not possible. However, for example, using organic cotton can also reduce pesticide use in India, benefiting both the environment and the people there.

Hemp, the fabric from which sustainable fashion is made

In addition to cotton, linen, and wool, fashion-conscious individuals will also find a wide selection of textiles made from hemp at Maas. On the one hand, because fabrics made from hemp fibers have excellent wearing properties, and on the other hand, because the robust hemp plant requires no pesticides and very little water during cultivation. Both align very well with the company's philosophy at Maas. For over 10 years, the company has been offering hemp clothing, and since the winter season of 2020/2021, even from its own production. The cultivation areas for the in-house production of hemp textiles are located in Turkey and China, and spinning and processing are done in the partner companies of Maas Natur in Turkey. All facilities are GOT-certified, a globally leading manufacturing standard for textiles made from ecological fibers. For customers, hemp fiber is still relatively new. Those who have worn a piece of clothing made from hemp are said to be enthusiastic about its wearing properties, according to Maas. And how does the company itself see the future of hemp fabrics and hemp blends in its own collection? Clearly, as a fixed component! Because the good ecological properties, comfort, and durability of hemp textiles are appreciated by everyone.
