Hemp Facts
Welcome 2022!
Once again, we stand at the beginning of a new year with hopeful anticipation. We reflect on our personal wishes and goals, and certainly also on the current challenges of this special time…For many of us, a colorful bouquet of good resolutions is a must at the turn of the year. Often, there are "old acquaintances" that we have lost sight of over the months, and we want to take care of them again with full enthusiasm: Eating healthier with less fast food, meat, and sweets - Getting off the couch and moving more - Conscious relaxation against too much stress! Since Corona has confronted us very directly with our health, our immune system, and our lifestyle, these topics have become even more "life-important." But changing old and beloved habits is often difficult.
Together it’s easier than alone
Connected with beloved and familiar people, we feel better right away, and in community, we can achieve what we often fail at alone. We also have a loyal and powerful companion in the power plant hemp, and this has been the case for many centuries. Whether healthy fatty acids, valuable protein, or other secondary plant substances - the seeds, leaves, and flowers of this ancient cultural plant are full of them and hold a lot of good for our body and well-being.

Cooking and enjoying together
Homemade tastes best – with a lot of fresh, regionally produced vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Even with less meat or even without, delicious and imaginative dishes can be conjured up. Hemp contributes its high-quality fats and valuable plant proteins, as the small hemp seeds are real power packs for our body. Packed with healthy omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, B vitamins, minerals, and vitamin E, they also contain the entire spectrum of amino acids from which our body can build all necessary proteins. This not only means power for our immune system, but even universities are researching how the superfood hemp can become a regional and sustainable alternative to our meat-heavy diet. Hemp seeds can be used creatively and versatilely, for example, as a crunchy snack for hunger in between, in muesli, or sprinkled over salad or vegetables. In pressed form, they provide us with pure and high-quality hemp seed oil. The "green gold" is not only used in the kitchen in many ways, but it can also richly nourish and care for our skin in cosmetic products.

Desire for movement and fresh air
It comes naturally when our body is supplied with everything it needs to be efficient and full of energy. And this brings the so-called "hemp press cake" into play, the residue from the hemp seeds that remains after oil extraction. With its well-tolerated proteins as well as the many important vitamins, minerals, and fiber, this unremarkable green powder has a lot to offer and inspires us to cook, bake, and create refined shake and smoothie variations. Many competitive athletes are already convinced of hemp protein – as an energy supplier, for muscle building, but also to support the healing of small tears and damage in the muscles after hard training. Of course, we can take it slow! For example, we can go for a walk, hike, or jog more often. We can leave the car at home and ride our bikes, and occasionally incorporate some workouts into our daily routine. Or we can meet friends to play soccer and romp in the garden with the kids – all under the motto: It should be good and fun!

No new strength without relaxation
Regeneration and rest are indispensable for body, soul, and mind. After an active and long day, we long for it, and yet we often skimp on these conscious recovery times. But even here, hemp can support us with its cannabinoids and terpenes. In a cup of hemp tea, the full variety of aromas and plant substances hidden in the leaves and flowers of the plant unfolds, allowing a filled day to end pleasantly and soothingly. In concentrated form, for example, cannabidiol (CBD) from the hemp plant is available to us in the form of CBD oils or CBD creams. These externally applied products serve for care and have regenerative and protective properties. CBD can interact well with the human endocannabinoid system, a part of our nervous system, by supporting our body's own endocannabinoids.
