Whole Grain Banana Bread with Hemp
Banana bread has long since enjoyed great popularity not only in the USA and appeals to both children and adults.It scores not only in the simplicity of preparation, but also in its countless variations. You usually have the ingredients at home and it's also a great way to use up ripe bananas. There are now countless recipes for the various forms of this sweet bread. Whether vegan, lactose- or gluten-free, moist American-style or light and low-carb – making banana bread invites experimentation. The whole grain banana bread with hemp is the perfect energy booster and power snack, providing plenty of important proteins.

Ingredients:
- 200g organic spelt whole grain flour
- 50g hemp flour
- 2 tbsp organic hemp seeds
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 3 eggs
- 100g raw cane sugar
- 50ml oil
- 2 tbsp low-fat curd (lactose-free)
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 tbsp raw cocoa
- 1 packet of baking powder
Preparation
Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, cinnamon, hemp flour and hemp seeds in a bowl. Then mash the bananas with a fork and whisk the eggs with the sugar in a bowl. Add oil, curd and bananas and stir in. Add the flour mixture and mix quickly. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake at 180 degrees Celsius top/bottom heat for about 50 minutes.
