Baking with hemp
Homemade hemp coconut granola
We love the coconut-hemp combination! Muesli often hides a lot of unwanted sugar. But if you make your granola yourself, you decide what goes in and what doesn't. A super simple and quick recipe that works without sugar.Doing it yourself is fun! Especially when it's so easy and the result is really impressive. For the most important meal of the day, it's worth investing a few minutes. The base of this granola is tender oats. Oats have a high content of vitamin B1 and B6 and provide you with plenty of plant-based iron, magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc, as well as fiber. A good friend of our favorite plant, hemp, so to speak. Hemp also has a high fiber content, contains a lot of protein, and is rich in vitamins E and B. And let's not forget: it just tastes wonderful!

Ingredients
- 250g oats
- 100g HANAFSAN hemp seeds
- 50g flaxseeds
- 1 tsp HANAFSAN hemp protein
- 30g coconut chips
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 50-100ml agave syrup
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
Preparation
Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl and add a pinch of salt. Heat the coconut oil and agave syrup until they combine. Mix everything together so that there are no large lumps left and everything is evenly distributed. Now spread everything on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake the granola for 10–15 minutes at about 190 degrees top/bottom heat. Before filling it, let the granola cool completely so it becomes nice and crunchy. Tip: Fill the correct amount of dry ingredients into containers so that next time you can make your own granola even more easily. Just add the agave syrup and coconut oil and pop it in the oven!
