Organic hemp food from HANAFSAN in all Sutterlüty markets

Through special displays showcasing the organic hemp range, in-store tastings, and customer surveys, we were able to demonstrate the potential of the hemp plant and inspire customers. The success proves us right.

In 2020, the collaboration between Dr. Feurstein Medical Hemp GmbH with its own brand HANAFSAN and Sutterlüty Handels GmbH was further expanded. From now on, all 24 Sutterlüty markets, from Lake Constance to Montafon, are stocked with HANAFSAN's organic hemp tea, organic hemp seed oil, and organic hemp seeds.

A collaboration that makes sense

Not only are we at HANAFSAN convinced of a regional creation with short supply chains. The company Sutterlüty, based in the Bregenzerwald, also shows with its long company history that there is another way. Hemp and products made from it fit perfectly into this philosophy. Hemp is one of the oldest cultivated plants and has been used for thousands of years in many parts of the world as food and raw material. Unlike many other highly industrialized crops, hemp cultivation is easier and more environmentally friendly. From soothing hemp tea, to hemp seeds, to hemp fiber for textiles or bioplastics – the use of hemp is versatile. A special product is hemp seeds – not only because of their high content of vitamin E and omega-3 and 6 fatty acids. When these seeds are pressed, hemp seed oil is produced. The resulting press cake can in turn be used to make other products, from hemp flour to hemp protein. The latter in particular is a great product for athletes, vegans, and health-conscious people.
